Tennis for Visually Impaired Players - Defiant Sport

Weekly coached tennis sessions for those with a visual impairment. Any age or ability welcome and any degree of sight impairment.

We are always open to user suggestions and depending on the clients at a session the general flow may change slightly to be more beneficial for those who have attended. If there is a drill or skill you are not wanting to take part in, players are welcome to use any of the equipment in our community area, as long as it does not require staff supervision.

For ages: 12+

Time of Session: 10:30am – 12:00pm

Day of Session: Friday (weekly)

Venue: Eastbourne Sports Park, Cross Levels Way, Eastbourne. BN21 2UF

Defiant Sports believe in 'connecting through sport' and aim to reach those who have a barrier to participation. They currently offer a wide range of activities including: home ed sports sessions, football for SEND children and siblings, holiday group, football for adults with disabilities, Boccia and seated sports, youth club 12+, kids club 8-11 year olds, sensory arts and crafts, Pokemon walk and disabled adults active social.

Whilst breaking down barriers to increase inclusivity Defiant Sports involve the community by asking “what would you like to do?” so if you can't find something to suit, get in touch and tell them!
