On the first Sunday of every month we will be running Quiet at the Aquarium sessions one hour ahead of opening. These sessions provide a quieter experience for those with Autism and other neurodiverse conditions

Enjoy a quieter experience, discover our range of fascinating creatures from sharks to seahorses while the centre is quieter to create a more enjoyable experience for those with sensory sensitivities
Our centre music, hand driers and televisions will remain switched off until 10am to provide a quieter experience around the aquarium. Lights are set to a calm white, music and other loud sounds are kept off, just you and the fin-tastic animals

About Sea Life Centre
The Brighton Sea Life Centre offers a fun and educational day out whatever the weather, with over 5,500 creatures and 55 displays from green turtles to sharks. Travel in the UK’s first glass bottom boat, go through the underground viewing tunnel and attend free talks and feeds throughout the day

Accessibility
Step free access is via the ramp next to the Brighton Pier, and then through the Sea Life tunnel on the beach. Once in the aquarium the auditorium has two flights of stairs leading to it. All talks can be heard in the tunnel and staff leave via the tunnel specifically to speak to customers for whom the auditorium is inaccessible

There is an accessible toilet within the Sea Life Centre
This aquarium is proud to have a Changing Places facility available for use via a Radar Key. Including an electrically height-adjustable adult-sized change table, tracking ceiling hoist, privacy screen, peninsular-shaped toilet, electrically height-adjustable sink, dimmable lighting and a larger access door

There is background music and colour changing lights. There should not be any other unexpected noises.The Sea Life Centre is busiest during weekends and school holidays when it can be noisy
