300 acres of carefully managed woodland and beautiful gardens, all surrounding a red brick, 15th century, moated castle.

There is currently no public access to the castle interior. However,  visitors can still enter through the gatehouse to enjoy views of the castle from the inner courtyard as they make their way to the gardens beyond.

Accessibility

There is a café with indoor and outdoor seating – tables and chairs. There is wheelchair access via a door at the back. There is a very short slope into the building. You will need to be able to ask staff to open the door, or you can call in advance to say you are coming, Tel number 01323 834494 
Please speak to staff if you wish to bring an assistance dog in to the café.
