A set price for a "Sensory-Friendly Cut" that is a a discount of a certain percentage 15% off the regular children's haircut price.

What it includes

* Extended Appointment Time: This reduces the pressure and allows for breaks, time to get comfortable, and a no-rush experience.

* Quiet Hours/Appointments: low-sensory times, such as the first appointment of the day or a specific day/time when the shop is less busy. I can turn off music and reduce other sensory stimuli.

* Sensory Tools: I will provide a toolkit of items that include:

* Fidget Toys: fidget spinners, stress balls, or other tactile toys to help occupy and distract the child.

   * Visual Schedule: a simple, laminated visual schedule that shows the steps of a haircut (e.g., "sit in chair," "put on cape," "haircut," "all done"). This helps reduce anxiety by making the process predictable.

* Parent/Carer Collaboration: I will work with the parent/carer to follow their lead. I will also offer a pre-appointment consultation (in person or over the phone) to discuss triggers, preferences, and a plan for the haircut.

* No-Pressure Environment: I will emphasise that it's okay if a haircut doesn't happen on the first visit. I can also offer "desensitization" appointments where the child can simply come in, sit in the chair, and get comfortable with the environment without the expectation of a haircut.
