How to install the i-go app on your phone

The i-go web app gives you quicker, easier access to all our fantastic offers, events and SEND sessions — right from your home screen. It works just like an app, but there’s no need to visit an app store or download anything!

We use a Progressive Web App (PWA), which offers a smooth, app-like experience directly from your browser.

Please note: the app does not offer a digital i-go card and may not be compatible with all devices.

How to Install the i-go app on Android

1. Open Chrome on your phone and go to the i-go website (igo.eastsussex.gov.uk)
2. Tap the menu icon (three dots) in the top-right corner
3. Select Add to Home screen or Install App
4. Follow the on-screen instructions

You’ll now see the i-go app icon on your home screen — just tap to launch it like any other app. To uninstall, simply delete it like you would any other app.

How to Install the i-go app on iPhone

1. Open Safari or Chrome and go to the i-go website (igo.eastsussex.gov.uk)
2. Tap the share icon (a square with an arrow pointing down):
   • In Safari: it's at the bottom of the screen
   • In Chrome: it's usually on the right (top or bottom corner)
3. Scroll down and tap Add to Home Screen
4. Tap Add to confirm

The app icon will now appear on your home screen. Just tap to open it any time. To uninstall, delete it like you would any other app.
