Join us for a celebration of the creation of Amberley Museum.
Since 1978, on every first Sunday of October, an Autumn Gathering has taken place to celebrate the Museum, its collections, Volunteers in celebration of the gathering that started it all.
What can visitors see and do at this event?
View and photograph over 150 historic vehicles and engines from the pre 1950s.
Chat, learn and reminisce to Volunteers and vehicle owners.
Ride on vintage buses and a steam train.

About Amberley Museum
Travel back in time and explore the South's working past, set in 36-acres in the South Downs National Park. There's plenty to see and do, with over 40 exhibits to discover in industry, communications, transport and traditional crafts. Ride on the free bus service and narrow-gauge railway or explore the nature trails.
Weekend events take place throughout the year, with school holiday activities for children.

Access from the car park to the Museum is through an open gateway, down a tarmac path. The entrance to the Museum is via the Museum Shop, where there is a ramp with a push button activated door.
Most of the buildings are fully accessible and most exhibitions are at ground level.
Train carriages are wheelchair-accessible.
