This May half term bring your family and explore the Garden on an eco-themed trail, connecting children to nature while encouraging sustainable living.
Discover fun facts, solve some puzzles and collect fallen finds in your ‘nature box’ as you explore. Then enjoy some time in our adventure playground with a zip wire.
Spring is an uplifting time to explore the Garden and Woodland, with an abundance of vibrant Azaleas, giant Rhododendrons and carpets of Bluebells. Picnics and dogs on leads are welcome.
A prize of a book is given at the end.
There are additional activities included in the admission price including -
Pea Head People
Drop in sessions from 10.30am to 12.00pm and 2.00pm to 3.30pm
Sow & Grow Sunflowers
Wednesday 31st May drop in sessions from 10.30am - 12.00pm and 2.00pm - 3.30pm
Creepy Caterpillars & Beautiful Butterflies
Friday 2nd June drop in sessions from 10.30am - 12.00pm and 2.00 - 3.30pm.

To book please visit, www.bordehill.co.uk . Select ‘other voucher’ and any additional visitors. On arrival please come into the reception/gift shop, where we can take for your i-go entry, which is £5, on presentation of your card.

The Eco Explorers Trail is £4 per child taking part in addition to Garden entry price.
About Borde Hill
Borde Hill Garden is set in over 200 acres of garden, park and woodlands which has views across the Sussex High Weald. Borde Hill Garden is planted in “living garden rooms”, each offering a different character and style.
Borde Hill Garden has regular events throughout the year.
Accessibility
Most paths in the formal Garden are step-free and accessible to those with restricted mobility. Gentle slopes, hard surfaces and gravel paths allow good wheelchair access and mobility maps are available from Visitor Reception.
There are plenty of benches located around the Garden for relaxing and taking in the sights should you want to stop for a rest.
The Parkland and Woodland have naturally uneven terrain making them unsuitable for wheelchairs.
There are a limited number of standard and all-terrain wheelchairs available to borrow from Visitor Reception. If you’d like to reserve one ahead of your visit please ring 01444 450326.

The car park surface is gravelled with designated spaces for blue badge holders located close to the Garden entrance. There is also a drop off point directly in front of the Visitor Reception building.

An accessible toilet can be found behind the main Garden entrance and Visitor Reception building which includes an emergency pull cord for use if you need assistance. This toilet also has baby changing facilities.
Guide Dogs

Assistance dogs on leads are welcome in the Garden, Parkland, Woodland and Adventure Playground.
